Some additional background as to why this is relevant, canines have a higher eye refresh rate than people, so when analyzing their interest in watching TV it's important to remember that to a dog the movie looks like an old projector screen that flickers unless you setup the TV to have a refresh rate up to 120 Hertz and the movie file also has that many frames in it.
