Wow! Never?? I get nightmares maybe once ever 2-3 months or so. One thing that has changed over recent years is connecting dreams... err... visions. I'll rest one night, go a few night with either unremembered visions or unrelated visions, and then a few nights later I'll pick up where I left off on the first vision I had. One of the connecting visions I've had was adding a third dog to my pack, some type of GSD mix. I had a vision about this, a few days later I had a second vision, and then a whole month later a had a 3rd vision picking up where I left off. Crazy right? When I eventually exited my rest I was like... oh damn! I recall having that vision a month ago!

I've had some intense ones when I was younger. Such as someone breaking into my childhood home and butchering my entire family with a machete. Then guy then turned his attention to me. I exited my vision sweating and quite literally crying. It took a good 30-40 minutes before I went back into a restful state. I haven't had one of those types of nightmares in over 5 years.

In terms of bad dreams I suffer the same two most the time. One being the day I lost my girl FML on that one. And the other was Jake being taken out by any number of ways by 3 people usually. The difference in wake up reactions is id wake up with tears on the first and wake up raged on the second mostly because I slaughtered the people. The only thing that’s freaky is how real they be like.

*hugs* I can only imagine how difficult that dream must be to have. Had I known you at the time I'd have given you my full condolences then, but I'll still give you my full condolences now. I know it's was a nightmare you had to actually live through.

I've surprisingly had very few dreams... err... visions, involving my death of my doggy girls. The only two I can even remember was one that involved my newfie girl getting ran over by a car. The other was my newfie girl suddenly getting aggressive for no reason and attacking and killing my littler girl. But that's literally the only ones I believe I've ever had involving my dogs that I can recall.
