Change username? (Contact @FloofyNewfie)

Hello @FloofyNewfie Could you please change my username? I made this a long time back when I was just a lurker and I didn't have an identity of sorts. I would love redvelvetcupcakes or velvetcamerata. Either of the two works. Thank you <3

They need to just make it so you can change your user name at will but make a 7 day cooldown on name changes and during the 7 days have a "formerly _____" tag below your new name so people can identify you to your new name. The only reason I want to change my name is that people don't stumble onto this account. I want to change my name to Sexualized Pony
 
I wonder how many people have been successful at having their names changed.
Not being critical at the admins. Simply curious.

Oh and could there be a self serving way to do it? Maybe for one time only or similar limitation.
 
If you want your usernames changed you have to contact Floofy directly, not by @ ing him.

I am currently having the same issue as RatMinus. I accidentally deleted the note containing the login info to my original account “TheGoatSister,” after having not logged into it for almost a year. I still have access to the email associated with that account BUT it is no longer receiving emails from ZooVille. I have made a new one under ProtonMail, that I’d like to have the password reset info sent to.

Okay cool! It said something about the “thread being deleted,” so I didn’t know if it was just written off because there wasn’t anything fishy with the acc.

Hello again! I don't want to be bothersome, but it has been a week since I submitted the original report, and I haven't heard anything back. Is this a normal wait time for requesting mod assistance? I just want to make sure my thing wasn't lost :,D
 
I sent a request for a username change last year and nothing happened. Was sent to ZTHorse. Just requested again via DM to FloofyNewfie. How long do you expect this to take? Thank you.
 
I'm reading these comments and finding that all requests are ignored. I hope someone can implement certain changes to fix security issues such as the inability to change user names when they are compromised. I seriously need my name changed for my own safety. If @FloofyNewfie is no longer responding to requests who is next in the chain of command?

I get to them when I get to them. But sending me a PM is better than posting on this thread, as it's more likely to hang around in my PM inbox for me to get to when I have some time, versus @ing me here. As by the time I have some free time, I'm likely no longer thinking about this thread anymore, and it's no longer in my notifications.

Anywho, username changed. I set it to where only you and the staff will be able to see the history icon by your username.
