the joke is that there never really was a matter to be settled. the op thought the mods magically took his edit button away. still has it in his signature too.
 
Generally speaking, You're not going to overturn a ban. I walk on eggshells myself with where I post and what I support. It stinks but it is for the best. This platform is very much a place where ignorance of the rules is no excuse for breaking them. They have to be. I've seen people just be super excited to be here get banned because they didn't realize/pay enough attention to the things they were posting. AI artists especially.

Just...If you want to have a place to speak then make sure you speak with purpose and thought because people are watching. I don't mean mods. I mean antis. Admin can't risk giving them ammo.

Yeah I I was there live. And you can see the comments where everybody says that's impossible and then scroll down and see where they amend it and say oh yeah well it's possible if the comment is under review. Which was not the specific case as it turns out but you can't say oh no that's not possible and then turn around and say well technically it is but you're stupid for believing that in the first place.

I see this a lot in the real world people will be saying the same thing making the same points but because there's some kind of cognitive communication issue there ends up being issues.

He's guilty of defending himself plain and simple. Because we all know here if the consensus is your guilty well then that means you're guilty right. We had people in here trying to say he was a ban evader based on absolutely nothing.
And y'all do this kind of stuff for fun. Everybody wants to be the sarcastic King of the internet. Can you have a place to do that you have an outlet called the dumpster fire. That's where you go to be a douche. Hurling baseless accusations around on the open forum is annoying but also Troublesome because then it invites more of that type of behavior. People would rather fight than understand commonalities, I've noticed. In itself, this is a commonality! It's also quite frustrating.

I mean I wouldn't really go that far. Also generalization of you people, there is only like one or two out of the lot that were trying to push your buttons. And that last comment is what's going to get this move to the dumpster fire which is what they wanted all along so as your lawyer your internet made up lawyer I would suggest that you use the delete button and delete the thread before it gets moved.
 
Unless of course they've disabled your delete button and we'd have to file a motion to show cause for a class action that could be millions of dollars and 15 years of proceedings and debates.

Please consider the fact you are partially responsible for the reaction of the people you chat with.
Sometimes we need to step back to cool down the situation, then feeding the chat with new arguments. To make it constructive.
I have the feeling you just find an edge and walk on it like tightrope walker. It's kind of impressive, but the show is not that enjoyable.

I wish I could give you a true slackline. It's cheap and fun.

A thread could be locked and later unlocked. But that didn’t happen in OP’s case.

So whatever happened there must’ve been a bug / client-side issue.
