whats with all the “… ?”

i keep seeing this everywhere and i have no idea what it means, for example: "hi there ?"
why the question mark?? is this some sort of emoji that i cant see or what?

I have no idea, but I know what your saying. I keep seeing the question marks and thought the same thing. Maybe an emoji not populating, maybe it's some new fangled thing people are doing, or the forum has some weird glitch which makes other punctuations into question marks.

Most cases an update caused it to lose whatever it had before. Such as something changed with emojis most likely.

The question marks are emojis. I have some of them in my previous posts. The website must no longer recognise the emojis after a period of time and are replaced with it

ahhhh yeah that makes sense- thanks a bunch i didnt know what to make of it
