Back in the days it used to be easier

Just wanted to say that I have notice it used to be easier on this topic, before online boom finding people who admit, now people are just scared
 
I think it was easier before finding like minded people to chat with but in recent years this has blown up more as a fetish. Back in the beastforum days it wasn't too hard finding people to chat with. I got to meet alot of long time friends i still see and chat with today. But now it seems people mostly want to chat if your an owner so they can get in on some action. I wouldnt say I'm scared but I do take my safety and my dogs safety way more into consideration now. I even go months of chatting to even consider meeting up with someone even if it's just for a drink or lunch. You just never know.
 
I don't remember too much back in the day. I know there were plenty of other pages like pet lovers forum. Zeta forum, etc. I wasn't much in meeting everyone, but just learning more about the community. Haven't been much on BF besides lurk, it just seemed more of people just wanting to meet and fuck. Which some of that is like now on ZV.

I think now its more risky, since you never know who you're speaking to. I personally see who has a profile pic, and take a look at their profile to see who may be decent. Never meet just to see their dog. If they really want to meet. They should be okay just meeting you and not the dog or other animal. They can't call themselves a zoo just to fuck and then ghost you because they got their rocks off. They're just someone that wants to fuck something, anything.
 
I have now just over 10 years of experience in this and have to say, that now people ar just afraid of it because of media and overall progress of internet as u can be caught
 
Me and my Ex still discuss it, she's the only one I've ever disclosed it too, and even though we part ways years ago, she's the only one who know and I can talk to, it helps that she's at least interested in it. I really wish it was an easier topic to approach people with.
 
It's hard as a guy too. Because a lot of guys are in it for the fetish aspect so finding people who will talk to a guy let alone in depth about this is a little rough I've found. Still lurking here and there to find people in my area maybe.
 
Im my opinion now more women are man are into or actually doing it but it's a more tabbo subject now so it's just happening behind the door

I’m not familiar with how things used to be since I’m new to the zoo side of being online. I think if anything, people are much more aware of the dangers of saying or doing anything online. There’s more tracking technology and more computer literacy. More people live their whole lives online as well. So they don’t want to ruin their lives by taking a gamble and trusting the wrong person or getting hacked.
 
Things have changed we are everyone's favorite targets now to distract from what they are doing. We are actively hunted even in our own spaces. Idk about the rest of you but I get messages all the time from new accounts that have never made any other posts other than in the location threads. There's way more people online, things like AI and facial recognition are available and you don't even have to be super computer literate to use things like that. We used to have an open chat with web cams and voice chat on BF, theres no way in hell we could have that now. It's not just the MR hands thing. Iirc back in like 08 maybe 09 one of the well known members of BF got snagged at the border running coke and then a whole shit show ensued because he had contact info for a bunch of BF members he had met. Idk if anyone else remembers but that was one of the big things that brought a lot of unwanted attention to BF.

one of my personal things that triggers/justifies my 'self defense' is when deception/lying (speaking life/death deception) is used to get one's malicious goal. they better hope its worth it. People who seek trouble should obtain it by their own volition.

that includes false 'stings' on those who don't even want trouble with the world. its pure injustice if one doesn't protect themselves from said evil individuals. Im not saying this (from my perspective) from a malicious heart. its more of a fine line of ethics/morality no one should cross if they agreed to be virtually intimate with another.

My heart is open to friendships but i despise the very core of lying to cause pains that aren't needed.

(however if that individual is harmful and they focus on that individual only instead of spreading the fishnet as wide as possible. i can see that being logically/ethically valid.)

if im wrong to hold this stance. tell me so.
 
I don’t know if things used to be easier or not since this is a new curiosity for me and I’m just learning.

However I think I have a general observation about relationships in the age of the internet which might apply here. You know what I mean:
- Tinder Swipe Left
- Plethora of porn aggregators
- Chatbots
- Coffeeshops where everyone is on their laptop.

I’m a social person and I try to leave my phone off for most of the day. I make a mental list of things I hear and want to know more about and I use an AI to explore them later. If I’m in a coffee shop I talk to the pretty girls.
