First of all, hey everyone, I'm kinda new here. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot,
I did try to find a topic that was close to relevant and since well being is a priority for
a potential companion in the future, i figured this was a good spot.
I've been around for a bit I was on BF before under a different username which I've long forgotten.
I know that owning a mare is expensive and they deserve the very best care. (Feed, Vet Care, Etc, space to exercise)
I was wondering if there were any owners out there that had advice about buying/owning a mare, and if you need your own
land or if you could stable them somewhere and pay for their lodgings, and then ride them (no pun intended)
to somewhere where you both can share some quality time together, and get to know each other.
And then when you both are close enough, finding a spot to be on your own? Until you can have
the land for them to run around and enjoy, and offer them the best. Has there ever been a fellow
owner that has been willing to rent a stall out to you? Is that something that happens.
I'd love to own a mare one day, they're beautiful, amazing, and graceful creatures.
But, it might be a long time away, but, hopefully one day you know?
