My lifecast canines

Thank you! I can't say I have, no. I do have a canine wearable sheath from Ambush Toys that's pretty good, and not too realistic looking ? Turning one into a wearable could be an interesting experiment though.
omg, they're amazing! can't believe i've never heard of them before

Any thoughts @W0lfy ?
Sorry yes, that's basically it. Touching up the plaster is just done with sandpaper and small sculpting tools. The final model is coated to smooth the roughness of the plaster then the whole thing cast in silicone for the mould. The silicone moulds are expensive but also give a nice surface finish with the correct mold release application.

Oh, coat bit is interesting one! I make some silicone castings (not erotic kind... yet haha) and it's always a struggle to achieve proper smoothness of the final surface.

Plaster is very porous and even though it wouldn't seem like it given its viscosity, silicone is /really/ good at capturing super fine detail. I'll sand the model as best I can, then use some modelling clay to fill in any holes and whatnot, clear coat it, then inevitably you'll find a few more small holes, which you can also seal over with modelling clay and smooth out.

Today's a nice big Swiss shepherd, with an amazing curve to boot! He's a close tie (?) with another to come for second largest in the collection, at 21cm length, 13cm shaft and 22cm knot! An impressive boy indeed ?

thx for explaining your process.

I've been working on these for a while now and it's been great fun and a learning experience. I've invested so much time and money into making these from real dog casts and thought, it's a bit of a shame for them to sit in a cupboard so, here we are.

This is a constant work in progress, to date I have completed around 16 with a couple still in the works. I'd love to collect as many different breeds as possible (and even multiple of the same breed), as it's so fascinating being able to look at them all side by side.

Many of these casts I have taken myself, others have been taken by the owners of the dogs and sent to me to be turned into their pretty silicone versions. And, just to clarify, and all the owners that have done this for their own dogs can confirm, the process is absolutely enjoyable for the dogs, there's really no way for it to be harmful! Just imagine a fleshlight perfectly moulded to your penis ?

I'll update this thread as I go, hopefully some of you will enjoy following along. Or if you live in Aus, feel free to message me, I might be able to help you out with one of your own dog ?
I won't be sharing anything but the casts themselves and some measurements for safety, and only if I have the owners permission for the ones that aren't mine. And no, they aren't for sale! This is more just a fun project for me and the dogs/owners.

With all that out of the way, here is the one that started it all. A nice big malamute, measuring in at 19cm long, 13.5cm around the shaft and 19cm knot circumference, he certainly set a good baseline for size! Also taught me silicone colour mixing is tricky.. but I have definitely improved now in that regard. Enjoy ?

Wow! These are amazing! For us not in the same hemisphere, what would be a good resource for these kits? Moreover, I don't see any dingoes in your collection of casts. I know they are illegal to keep as companions in SA, but in other states they are allowed. I'm a bit sooky for a dingo.. ;) .. even though their penis would be a wee penis compared to these European breeds myself and others are drooling over. Also, what a wonderful memento for when your beloved is gone.. :gsd_love: :gsd_love:

No one I know really does complete kits to do this besides myself, you'd have to gather all the materials which aren't hard to get. I've considered how I could potentially offer this to people abroad as it would be super cool to collect some rare breeds we don't really see over here, but I think it would be a bit of a gamble with customs in both countries.

As for a dingo, you're right, that would be super cool. I don't know anyone that owns one though sadly but if I ever do, it'll definitely be a consideration!

It's a great memento indeed, I've got a toy of the first boy I ever tied with (a Shep, of course ?) and the fact I can re-live some of those amazing times is pretty incredible.

I'd like to see giant breeds with 10+ inch circumference knots (I know multiple 10.5 inch dogs, and individuals who are beyond). Also the texture that you smooth out in your process some people might have liked. For example, Bad dragon seems to like adding a lot of texture to their toys. I think perfect realism is king. Exotic erotics makes poor detail lifecasts and I got into lifecasting to get better toys than they sell.

The texture I'm smoothing out is the roughness of the plaster itself, not detail of the dog, obviously I do my best to avoid that, as you can see in the photos most of the casts do capture a lot of detail. The ones that don't have so much detail are because the alginate set too soon and unfortunately a lot of these opportunities are one offs. The rough texture of the plaster in the silicone makes the finished toy look matte and patchy as you need to use different batches of plaster to fix up imperfections, so you need to smooth them out at the end to some extent to make them look good.
