Whoo-hoo! Scary Black Rifles are great! :)

Yippee!!!

After the brain-dead checks and pointless waiting period (Somebody tell me, please, if you can, what gun violence is prevented by making someone who holds a concealed carry permit and walks into the gun shop with his carry weapon holstered on his belt wait for 10 days before taking possession of his new purchase?) that goes with a gun purchase, I just took possession of my nifty new Scary Black Rifle(TM) with a total of four "Piss off Pelosi" mags (all four of them hold 30 rounds! SCARY!!!!! and a "REALLY piss off Pelosi" 40-round mag! EXTRA Scary!!!! along with a 1000 round case of ammo for it. OH NOES!! He's got a thousand rounds of ammo for his Scary Black Rifle! He *MUST* be getting ready to go on a shooting spree!

Once this damned Corona panic passes, I WILL be going on a shooting spree - No paper or steel target at the local range will be safe! Buwahahahahahahahahah!

And just for the record, although I *LIKE* this new weapon - quite the spiffy unit, truth be told - it was mainly a "protest purchase" - Chances of my ever firing it anywhere besides at the range are slim. But since various politicians don't want me to have it, I decided that what they want doesn't mean shit, and I was gonna by god have it, and fuck 'em with a splintered fencepost if they don't like it.

So now, not only do I own firearms, I own ANOTHER firearm - and even better, it's one of the Scary Black Rifle types that causes wannabe-nanny politicians to make stains in their undies. BONUS! :)

funny to see how many liberals and left leaning people became pro gun all of a sudden in new York and California in this times :) it's like they understood when things go rough you gonna have to know how to protect yourself by yourself and not daddy government :)

My scary rifle is desert tan but my AK is black ?

Amazing what can be done with a can of Krylon, eh? :)

Gotta be honest - I got an "optics ready" version of the 316L from Del-Ton, so no sights on it - just a flat-top receiver with rail, and a Midwest Industries Mlock handguard cage with rail-continuation. Except for the desert tan Magpul "MBUS" flip-up sights I've got on the rail until the scope I have on order arrives (And perhaps after, assuming the scope clears them), it's only "mostly" black. :)

I'd vote liberal if they'd either stop restricting the 2nd and/or removed all of the current regulation that exists. And BTW I love all the Scary Black Rifles! :D

How about a .50 Beowulf? ?
Erm... The idea is to *HIT* the target, not blast it into iron filings... :)

(Side note that leads to nowhere: I gave *VERY* serious consideration to getting a Hello Kitty AR, just for the extra "fuck with everybody's head" value. Decided I liked the look and feel of the rig I ended up with better, though. The Hello Kitty version wasn't bad, but I like the bit more heft that this one has. The Hello Kitty one felt too light - like if I bumped something with it, it might break.)

I
I'd be afraid to even just handle that damn thing! The muzzle flash is as big as a small-statured person!
have no trouble with it unless it’s pushing 700 gr. Hard cast. My 454 kicks more. Yet again it’s not ported and had a 3 1/2 in barrel.

Just wondering, has anyone held or seen an AR57? I've seen one in person and it looks like it could kick some ass! :D

Really? It costs more than .223 now? God damn, it's really been so long ago since I saw it!

It’s a specialty round for a overly expensive hand gun. Not to mention you need to load up a guy with it to put him down. My 357 will do with one.

True that! It was still quite the eye candy rifle though! :p

50-140-750 Sharps loaded to .500 nitro specs, loved the looks it got at the range when I was still shooting 1000 yard matches.

My 7-1/2 Freedom Arms .454 Casull kicks like an Army mule.

.223 is pretty darn cheap these days - I've seen online prices in the 23 cents/round range, and I got out the door with the case of 1000 (not even bulk-in-a-bag - 50 actual boxes of 20) rounds of 55 grain .223 FMJBT Prvi Partizan - Serbian-made ammo, perhaps not the best in the world, but definitely a decent reputation for range and plinking from everything I can find online - for just over $400 after tax. The online order I placed last week with Brownells (And I'll *NEVER* deal with them again - I'll be happy to give details on request) was 200 rounds of American Eagle (Federal's "Walmart-grade" ammo brand - although Walmart no longer sells 5.56/.223) 5.56 "XM193" (which is their way of saying "This is over-production from a run of military-issue M193 55 grain FMJ" - *VERY* high reputation stuff) plus 3 Magpul Gen2 PMAGs (that go locally for about $19 each after tax) for $125.
